How to judge the quality of perfluorinated rubber FFKM material?

FFKM is a high performance fluorine rubber material, also known as "to advanced" fluorine rubber. However, not all FFKM have the same performance, and different manufacturers produce different quality. Here is some methods to identify FFKM quality :

1. Density: The density of FFKM material should be between 1.8-2.0g /cm³. If the density is outside this range, it may be because the material is doped with other substances.

2. Thermal stability: FFKM material should have high thermal stability and can be used in high temperature environment for a long time without decomposition. The thermal stability of the material can be tested by detecting the thermal decomposition temperature of the material or by conducting tests in a high temperature environment.

3. Chemical inertness: FFKM material should have excellent chemical inertness and be able to resist the erosion of various corrosive substances. Chemical inertness of materials can be tested by testing their resistance to various corrosive liquids.

4. Physical properties: FFKM material should have good physical properties, such as high elasticity, tear resistance, wear resistance, etc. The physical properties of materials can be tested by testing methods such as tensile test, tear test and wear test.

5. Product certification: FFKM materials usually need to pass quality management certification such as ISO 9001 or ISO TS 16949, which can be used as a reference to evaluate the quality of materials.
